EMEA News: Sega Launches New Sonic Games At EAS

Sega Amusements Europe is renowned for manufacturing and distributing the most innovative coin operated amusement equipment to the leisure, amusements and attractions market. At this year’s Euro Attractions Show in Gothenburg, Sweden, on stand C323, from 6th to 8th October, Sega will be presenting some of its most sought after products and launching new games.

The iconic company mascot Sonic the Hedgehog will feature heavily on the booth, not only in the now well established Sonic All Stars range of Air Hockey, Basketball or Sonic kiddie ride, but he will be pride of place on two new redemption games. The global launch of Sonic Dash video redemption and Sonic Blast Ball mechanical redemption will enforce the power of the brands legendary character.

Commenting on the choice of show for such an important launch, Sega’s Justin Burke said “we have seen the rising importance of the EAS show over the years, but noticed that it is not often the launch platform for new product. Probably as IAAPA is around the corner and takes the limelight. This year we decided to buck that trend and give European customers, who may not get the opportunity to visit Orlando, the chance to see new products. With these two great new redemption games, we are very excited and proud to launch them at EAS.”

Sega will also show a selection of the games from ICE, for whom it distributes in Europe and Russia. The hottest games in the industry will be on show including the hit game Down the Clown that is set to become an all-time classic, plus this year’s big success Gold Fishin, both part of the carnival series, along with the interactive spectacle that is Kung Fu Panda. Seasoned winners Whack n Win and Ice Ball FX alley roller will make up the ICE display.

The support divisions of Sega Total Solutions and Sega Prize Europe will be on hand to meet new and existing customers to discuss their latest product offerings.

For all of this and much more come and visit the Sega Stand C323 at EAS in Sweden on 6th to 8th October.
